A discussion concerning Chinese food in America

  On Monday, we were told that we could have a Chinese lunch in Ginger China.However, it was not a real sense of Chinese food, it's a combination of American and Chinese taste.I ordered Hunan Shrimp because I come from Hunan

province and I love spicy food.In addition,they prepared sour and hot soup for me.I think the soup was really thick maybe there were starch in it.While in China, people like drinking thin soup.And those shrimps were not hot,but I think it's tasty.The food of Ginger China are typical American Chinese food,which is more sweet than authentic Chinese food,despite most of them has the same ingredients.On account of American has a sweet tooth,the food provided in Ginger China is sweet for us and not so spicy.Whereas,the authentic rice in that restaurant satisfied our homesickness.
