Fort Ticonderoga

Yesterday,we went to the Fort Ticonderoga where is a large 18th-century star fort built by the French at a narrows near the south end of Lake Champlain in northern NY.We watched a performance that people dressed up 18th-century clothes.In the reenactment,I knew the French army defeated the Indian,then the British army defeated the French.In 1775,the American army beated the British.That was the first battle that the American won during the Independence War.I learnt some history of  the Independence War about the Fort Ticonderoga.What an interesting day!
